Shotfeet Emporium - Kettering
Shotfeet Emporium – the sweetest smelling shop in Kettering town!

Along Montagu Street in Kettering, you’ll find a range of small businesses, and a shop you simply can’t walk past without stopping is Shotfeet Emporium! It’s bright pink, it smells incredible, and once you step inside, you’ll want to stay a while.
The shop is run by Tracy, who is passionate about creativity, fragrance and supporting small makers. Shotfeet Emporium is part of her wider brand, Scentnest, the online side of the business.
We popped in to have a chat and Tracy told us:
I opened the shop three years ago, we specialise in cosmetic glitter and mica powders, and supply ingredients for all kinds of craft projects including wax melts, candles, bath bombs and more. With more people making their own products to sell over the last few years, I wanted to make it easier for small creative businesses and hobby makers to get what they need, locally.Tracy - Shotfeet Emporium
If you don’t want to make your own, we have a huge range of handmade products to browse including wax melts, candles and diffusers, dupe perfumes and aftershaves, gorgeous bath and shower products, home fragrance, cleaning products, and even a little selection of homeware. With more people spending time at home in recent years, I know how important it is to have a lovely-smelling place to live and work!
I enjoy being my own boss and being amongst other small business owners in Kettering. I have local nail technicians who buy glitter and powders from me, and makers who buy ingredients to start their own lines. I have a big heart, and I love helping people, giving advice and sharing what I’ve learnt, there’s a lot more to it than you’d think!
The business began life in a warehouse in Corby, and when a retail unit became available closer to home in Kettering, I took the opportunity to have a physical space where I could sell, create, chat to customers and be part of the small business community. I’m a busy mum of four, so this set-up fits perfectly, and I absolutely love it.
When the shop is quiet, you’ll often find me making wax melts and other products in the workshop on site. I’m thinking about offering demonstrations in the future so people can watch how it’s all done.
The wax melts are incredibly popular, and I love experimenting with scents. I’m currently having fun creating the festive range. Cinnamon isn’t my favourite, but the fresh cleaning scents? Those are my top pick!
I know times are tough for many people right now, and I want my products to bring happiness, and be affordable - so there’s something for every budget here. I also offer a bespoke hamper-making service which is always a hit, and my candles with cheeky messages fly off the shelves, they make brilliant gifts!
Running a small business can be challenging, footfall is very up and down. But the power of recommendation has been huge. I’ve built a loyal customer community, both in the shop and online, and I’m proud of how far the business has come.
You absolutely can’t miss Shotfeet Emporium! Look for the pink frontage on Montagu Street and follow your nose! The door is always open, the welcome is always warm, and Tracy is always happy to help you pick the perfect scent.
And keep an eye out for the new addition too, vintage and pre-owned men’s clothing has recently launched in the shop.
