Introducing the second of our Talk of the Town videos which is all about the historic and quaint town of Burton Latimer.

These businesses can both be found on the High Street and they love being part of the local community. They tell us what they enjoy about having their business in the town and more.

One of Burton Latimer’s standout features is the variety of independent shops, cafés, restaurants, wellbeing centres, and hair and beauty salons. You’ll find a delightful mix on the High Street and surrounding area, and there is free parking with all amenities within a short walking distance.

There is a regular market with a range of stalls, and events throughout the year which are always well supported by the local community and visitors to the town. It’s a perfect place for food lovers with its range of pubs serving traditional British dishes, along with award-winning restaurants with menus full of international cuisines bursting with flavour.

There is a strong sense of community and pride in Burton Latimer, with many residents having lived in the town for many years with lots of stories to tell! Everyone is welcome in this small town, and with it being surrounded by countryside and home to a picturesque pocket park, it is a place waiting to be explored. The town also boasts cultural heritage with historical landmarks including St Mary’s Church which dates back to the 12th century.
