Occupational therapy service
The Occupational Therapy service supports you with your disability or long-term condition and helps connect you to your local community.
We also provide assessments for children who could benefit from home adaptations.

This is a two-way open discussion covering all areas of your life which are being affected.
Recommendations may include:
- equipment - such as perching stool, bed and chair raises and raised toilet seat
- minor adaptations - including grab rails, stair rails
- major adaptations - such as stairlifts, wet rooms, ramps
- housing - explore housing solutions for those people who need to move house
- specialist moving and handling - including recommendations for equipment, handling techniques and training for informal carers and care providers in complex situations
