Public open space - two parcels of land adjacent to High Street and Well Street, Finedon

Notice is hereby given that North Northamptonshire Council proposes to dispose of two independent parcels of land adjacent to High Street and Well Street, Finedon. This is in accordance with the Council’s Community Asset Transfer Policy that will ensure that the area continues to be available for the benefit of the public. 

The two parcels comprise of:

1. The smaller parcel comprising of 0.033 hectares (Eastern Section)
2. The larger parcel of land comprising of 0.062 hectares (Western Section)

Notice is hereby given that North Northamptonshire Council proposes to dispose of Wilbarston Village Hall and Recreation Ground comprising of approx.1.896 hectares in accordance with the Council’s Community Asset Transfer Policy that will ensure the facilities continue to be available for the benefit of the public.

Notice is hereby given by North Northamptonshire Council (“the Council"):

1. That, in accordance with section 123(2A) of the Local Government Act 1972, the Council intends to dispose of land to the south of Rothwell Road, Sycamore Drive, Desborough (the “Site”).
2. The Site includes areas of land which consist of or may be deemed to consist of public open space.
3. The disposal of the freehold interest in the Site is to release the land for housing development and ancillary uses.
