Councillor allowances and expenses
All councillors are entitled to receive a basic allowance and some also receive a Special Responsibility Allowance (SRA). This is in accordance with regulations issued by the government.
The current scheme of members allowances can be found in Part 8.7 of the council's Constitution.
The council publishes an annual list of allowances paid to members under the scheme over the preceding financial year from 1 April to 31 March
