Types of permit

Gambling permits allow certain premises to provide facilities for gambling such as gaming machines.

Gaming machines are categorised according to their maximum stakes and prizes. Each permit type has specific limits on the number and category of gaming machines and types of gaming that can take place.

We are responsible for issuing gambling permits for:

Renewal

You can apply for the permit to be renewed within 6 months of the expiry date, but no later than 2 months before the expiry date.

The renewal procedure is the same as making a new application.

Payment

Once you have completed your application form please pay the application fee. Your application will only be processed once we are in receipt of your application and payment.
