Value and encourage the contribution of service users and their advocates, relatives, carers and support workers where appropriate. Work alongside brokers to procure support plans including equipment and adaptations.

Rewarding experience

We're committed rewarding experience within our workforce. As a registered Social Workers who has:

  • successfully completed your Assessed and Supported Year of Employment (ASYE)
    or
  • more than 5 years experience (qualified prior to the ASYE coming in)

you will be awarded an extra £2,000 pro rata Market Forces Supplement on top of your base salary. This is to reward the unique experience and knowledge you bring.

If you undertake your ASYE with us, you'll be eligible for the supplement when you successfully complete your assessed year.

In addition, we offer enhanced rates of pay for those who undertake additional duties on top of their day-day Social Work role. If you become a Practice Educator, Approved Mental Health Professional or Best Interest Assessor in addition to your Social Work role (and meet the base qualifying criteria), we offer a further £2,000 pro rata.

This means there is the potential to earn an extra £4,000 on top of your base salary.
