Leaseholder costs
You are responsible for paying your fair share of costs.
You will receive an annual service charge bill in April each year. This covers the day to day running costs for the block in which you live and is split between all residents.
Services that you are charged for may include:
- annual ground rent
- maintenance of common areas
- fire safety equipment
- door entry systems
- caretaking and cleaning
- cost of lighting to communal halls, landings and stairwells
- upkeep and maintenance of external communal open areas
- management of the services provided and administration of accounts
- building insurance
You will also receive quarterly repairs and maintenance bills. This will be for any repairs carried out to the block and will be split between all of the properties in the block.
Any deliberate damage by the leaseholder that needs repairing or replacing will be recharged onto your account.
