North Northamptonshire Council Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
North Northamptonshire Council (Stoke Doyle Road, Oundle) (30 miles per hour speed limit) Order 20XX
North Northamptonshire Council (“the Council”), in exercise of its powers under Sections 82, 83, and 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”), and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, hereby makes the following Order:
Citation and Commencement
1. This Order may be cited as the North Northamptonshire Council (Stoke Doyle Road, Oundle) (30 Miles Per Hour Speed Limit) Order 202* and shall come into force on XXXX
Speed Restriction
2. No person shall drive a motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 30 miles per hour on any length of road specified in the Schedule to this Order.
Revocation of Previous Orders
3. All existing speed limit Orders made by North Northamptonshire Council or its predecessor authorities under the provisions of the Act, or under earlier legislation, relating to the lengths of road specified in the Schedule to this Order, are hereby revoked.
Exemptions
4. Nothing in Article 2 shall apply to any vehicle falling within Regulation 3(4) of the Road Traffic Exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and Amendment) Regulations 2011, when used in accordance with Regulation 3(5) of those Regulations.
