North Northamptonshire Council Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

The North Northamptonshire Council (Kettering Road, Weldon)(30 miles per hour and 50 miles per hour speed limit) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that North Northamptonshire Council, in exercise of its powers under sections 82, 83 and 84 and Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, proposes to make an Order, the effect of which will be to extend an existing 30 miles per hour speed limit and introduce a new 50 miles per hour speed limit on the length of road specified in the Schedules to this Notice.

A copy of the proposed Order, a map showing the exact lengths of roads to which it relates and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the Order may be:

Making representations or objections - Any person wishing to object to, support, or make representations regarding the proposed Order must do so in writing, stating the grounds for their objection or representation, quoting reference P2060, and sending them to: Traffic Orders Section, Kier Highways, Highways Depot, Old Harborough Road, Brixworth, NN6 9BX or by email to [email protected] - stating the grounds for their objection or representation, to be received no later than 14 May 2026.
