Apply for an operator licence
You will need:
- details of any hackney carriage, private hire and dual hackney carriage or private hire drivers licence you currently hold or previously held including any refusals, suspensions and revocations
- provide details of all convictions for offences of any kind including outstanding charge(s) or summons awaiting a court hearing
- planning permission or written evidence that planning permission is not required
- written property owner consent (rented accommodation)
- employers liability insurance (minimum of £5 million for operating bases open to the public)
- evidence of your right to work in the United Kingdom (if less than 5 years your licence shall only be issued for as long as the leave to remain)
- basic disclosure and barring service check (DBS) provided within 4 weeks of being issued (if you're not currently a licensed driver with us and subscribed to the update service)
