Suicide prevention in Northamptonshire

In Northamptonshire, approximately 60 individuals take their own life each year. We believe every death by suicide is one too many and that suicide prevention should be a priority for all of us.

The Suicide Prevention Steering Group (SPSG), led by Northamptonshire's Public Health Team, aims to reduce the rate of suicide and self-harm in Northamptonshire and has coordinated the production of the latest suicide prevention strategy.
