Standing for election and voting for the UK Youth Parliament
Standing
During a campaign period, you can submit a manifesto for other young people to vote on if you would like to stand as a candidate.
Voting
You need to be 11 to 18 years to vote. Manifestos will be available online to help you decide who to vote for.
When voting is open, we'll provide an online link to voting which is available from schools, colleges, local libraries or and Family Hubs. You can also request this be emailing us at [email protected].
Count
All votes cast before the election closes will be counted.
The 2 young people with the most votes (first-past-the-post) will be elected as the North Northamptonshire Members of Youth Parliament.
