Statement of community involvement
The Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) sets out:
- how we engage with the community in keeping minerals and waste policies up to date
- how we consult the community over planning applications submitted to us
A Statement of Community Involvement as it relates to minerals and waste matters was originally adopted in June 2006 by Northamptonshire County Council.
A revision of the Statement of Community Involvement was adopted in November 2012 and this informed the consultation on the adopted Minerals and Waste Local Plan.
A new Statement of Community Involvement for the whole of the North Northamptonshire Council area, including for minerals and waste development and policies, was adopted on July 2022. Planning applications to be submitted to North Northamptonshire Council will need to take account of this Statement of Community Involvement.
