Liability appeal
There is a separate and legal process to challenge or appeal your council tax liability, so in the first instance please contact our team.
We will consider your appeal based on legislation. If you remain dissatisfied, you have a further right of appeal to an independent Valuation Tribunal.
If you think your valuation is wrong you can challenge your band. You must continue to pay your council tax until the result of the appeal is decided.
Making an appeal does not allow you to withhold payment of your council tax.
