Direct Debits
There is a technical difficulty with some of our rent direct debit payments - if your direct debit hasn’t been taken you will be contacted directly with further instructions. We apologise for any inconvenience caused
You can request a refund if you have a credit balance on your account for:
- council house or flat rent
- garage rent
- leasehold charges
Bear in mind that if any money is owed elsewhere within the council, then any credit balance may be used to offset this first.
We aim to complete refunds within 20 working days.
If you're requesting a refund on behalf of someone else, you will need to upload one of the following:
- Copy of Death Certificate
- Power of Attorney
- Authorisation to Act
