Make a change to your premises licence

If you hold a premises licence, you can change or vary your licence.

Change or replace

You have a legal duty to notify us if:

  • you or the named DPS on your premises licence changes name or address
  • you have lost or had your licence stolen or destroyed

Designated premises supervisor

Specify a new individual as the designated premises supervisor (DPS)

To apply you will need to:

  • confirm you have received a signed consent form or the reference number for the online form of the individual you have nominated to be the DPS
  • upload your premises licence
  • confirm you will inform the current DPS of your application
  • make a debit or credit card payment

Disapply the mandatory alcohol condition requiring a DPS for a community premises

A board or committee that manages a community premises and holds or has applied to hold or vary a premises licence with alcohol sales may apply here to remove the requirement to have a Designated Premises Supervisor and make themselves responsible for all alcohol sales under the licence.

To apply you will need

  • To upload your premises licence if one is already in issue
  • To upload copies of any hiring agreements
  • To upload copies of any documents you may hold that identify how the premises is managed
  • A debit or credit card to make payment to submit your application.

Next steps

Once submitted your application will be validated. Your application will not be accepted as served if you have not provided all of the information or correct documents we need to process your application.

We will contact you if it is deemed incomplete or rejected.

If your application is subject to consultation and valid representation is received your application will be subject to a hearing. An officer will contact you if a hearing is required.

If an objection is made you may appeal against the decision. Appeals must be made to the local Magistrates Court within 21 days:
