School Admissions Team

Tithe Barn Road
Wellingborough
NN8 1BN

These applications will be considered on a monthly basis; please see below for more information.

Waiting lists

NNC holds the waiting lists for all schools until 31 December.

To add your child’s name to a waiting list you must have made an application for the school in the first instance.

Waiting lists will be kept for all oversubscribed secondary schools. If you wish to add your child’s name to a waiting list, you will need to send your request via email or in writing to the School Admissions Team.

We will contact you by email if a place can be offered to your child from a waiting list.

Any places that become available will be reallocated on a monthly basis from April to July 2024. If there are more requests than there are places available, places will be allocated according to the school’s oversubscription admission criteria.

You should not decline your existing offer of a place on the basis that you have made a further application for another school. Where schools with foundation, voluntary aided or academy status operate their own waiting lists, the School Admissions team will forward any waiting list requests to these schools.
