Designated Safeguarding Lead - Initial DSL Training (Schools and Colleges)
Available dates: New dates for 2024 to 2025 will be published in August 2024
Location: West Northamptonshire council, One Angel Square, Northampton, 9:15am to 4:30pm
Course cost: £150 per delegate, your setting will be invoiced for the advertised cost of the course
Course outline
This is an all-day course for newly appointed Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSL). Delivered as a face to face session, delegates will discuss and cover the roles and responsibilities of the DSL, statutory guidance that informs the DSL role, different forms of abuse and how to recognise and respond to concerns.
