Dementia and autism friendly at libraries

Our libraries have floor plans located by the entrance and directional signage throughout to make navigation easier.

Shelf guiding is printed on a contrasting colour, in a bold typeface, with pictorial images so they are clear and easily visible.

Libraries have dementia Reading Well collections. 

We have created Social Stories to help customers with autism feel more comfortable visiting our libraries and understand how to access services:
