Free early education and childcare for foster children

Foster carers of children aged 3 and 4 may be able to claim 30 hours of childcare, if they meet certain criteria and it's deemed right for the child.

Eligibility

You will need to be either in a:

• single parent foster family and engage in paid work outside of your role a foster carer
  or
• two parent foster family and both partners engage in paid work outside their role as foster carer

You will also need to discuss this with your supervising Social Worker.
