Responsibility for drainage

Urban drainage

You can report flooding or issues that could cause flooding to the owner or organisation responsible:

• Private soakaways are the responsibility of the property or landowner
• Road gullies are our responsibility
• Surface water sewers are our responsibility (if it only drains the highway) or the Water and Sewerage Company (if it has been adopted)
• Downpipes are the responsibility of the property owner
