Free Tree Giveaway
We are distributing packs of young trees for local groups to plant and nurture, with saplings supplied by The Woodland Trust.
Eligibility
The Free Tree Giveaway is open to the following organisations in North Northamptonshire:
- businesses
- charities
- community groups
- parish councils
- private landowners
- residents
- schools
If you're not the landowner, we will need written permission from them before we can award tree packs. Make sure this is ready to upload to your application.
Trees
Groups can apply for tree packs containing 20 saplings including:
- common oak
- field maple
- silver birch
- rowan
- crab apple.
You can request a maximum of 10 tree packs but if you're interested in planting more trees, email [email protected] to discuss this further.
If successful, your group will be responsible for any maintenance and aftercare of the trees. Tree shelters, stakes and canes will not be provided.
Apply
Complete our application form to apply by 28 February 2026.
Tree packs will be available for collection in March and more details will be shared once we have closed for applications.
