Friends groups at Country Parks and Woodlands

Become a friend of Sywell Country Park

If you are a regular visitor we would like your input into how we manage the park for the benefit of visitors and wildlife. The friends group is the ideal way to be involved and meet like-minded people.

If you would like more information on becoming a friend of Sywell Country Park, please telephone the rangers on 0300 126 5935.

If you would like to join the friends group, please email your name and contact details to [email protected].

Join one of our Corby friends groups

Joining any of our Corby Friends groups means you’ll help care for the woodlands. This includes tasks like coppicing, planting, litter picking, assisting with events, and more.

We have Friends groups for the following areas:

  • Thoroughsale and Hazel Wood
  • Coronation Park
  • East Carlton Countryside Park
  • King's Wood Local Nature Reserve
  • West Glebe Park
  • Weldon Woodland Park

These groups are currently focused on cleaning up litter and fly-tipping at their sites, meeting regularly to improve the area and help change any negative perceptions.

To join or for more information, please email [email protected].
