Reconnect at the Park - Corporate teambuilding

Supporting staff wellbeing is essential to maintaining a positive workplace culture and a motivated team.

Our Reconnect at the Park sessions provide a refreshing opportunity for colleagues to step away from the pressures of the working day.

These 2 hour sessions encourage teams:

  • to connect
  • be active
  • keep learning
  • take notice (four of the Five Ways to Wellbeing!)

All delivered within the calming surroundings of our beautiful country parks.

A welcoming, restorative experience

After a friendly introduction to the activity, participants have time to reconnect with colleagues in a relaxed natural setting - far removed from the usual busy working environment.

Movement is built in, but gently. No running laps...unless someone insists! Many of us spend long periods sitting during the working day and it’s surprising how many steps you can clock up simply by being outdoors.

Some sessions may also include foraging for natural materials used in the activity.

Whatever activity your group chooses, our experienced Education Ranger will guide participants throughout, helping them discover new skills or learn more about the nature around them.

Each session invites participants to pause, be present and take notice of their surroundings. You’ll be amazed at what you spot when you give yourself permission to slow down and truly look.

Someone rolling clay with arts and crafts supplies

Our team spent a wonderful afternoon at Irchester country park. We made some beautiful nature crafts together using flowers, string and wood, which provided a unique opportunity to talk with colleagues and get to know each other better in a relaxed environment.

We had the opportunity to go for a walk in the park and even build a fire (with the great incentive of toasting s’mores!), which created a new, fun way to work together. We all left the day feeling uplifted and would recommend it to any team looking for an alternative to their usual routine!

Getting out to a country park as a team, felt like we were losing an important day of work when we are all really busy. What it gave us was the space to think, talk, relax, and refocus, all whilst in a beautiful natural setting – we came back to work the next day with a different perspective and a renewed focus as a team. It was worth the time out of the office

We had an absolutely fantastic afternoon at Irchester Country Park. It was easy to organise with the Country Parks team, and the mix of activities planned for us made the whole experience feel refreshing and memorable. We built a fire and toasted marshmallows, had a woodland walk learning about nature, plus we did some fun craft activities and even a game of conkers!

Getting outdoors together helped us switch off from our laptops and phones, learn new skills, and share plenty of laughs. It was a brilliant way for the team to connect, especially with our newer members, and a wonderful chance to enjoy something a little different in a beautiful setting
