North Northamptonshire has over 100 town and parish councils, each one electing Councillors every 4 years to serve the local community. The most recent elections to these councils were in May 2021.

Please see below for notices of vacancy for town and parish councils within North Northamptonshire. If you live or work within the relevant parish (and meet the relevant criteria) you could stand for election as a councillor or be co-opted on to the town or parish council.
I must give notice, under Section 87(2) of the Local Government Act 1972, that a vacancy exists in the office of Parish Councillor for Gretton Parish Council.
The vacancy has arisen due to the resignation of Spencer Nicholls.
For a by-election to be held to fill the vacancy, a written request made by ten registered local government electors of Gretton Parish Council, must be submitted within 14 days of this notice (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays).
