The Executive

The Executive Board is the principal decision making body of the council.

The board is chaired by the Leader of Council and has 9 Executive Members with portfolio responsibilities:

• Councillor Martin Griffiths - (Chair) Leader of the Council
• Councillor Eddie McDonald - (Deputy Chair) Adults and Health Partnerships
• Councillor Brian Benneyworth - Health and Leisure
• Councillor Graham Cheatley - Finance, Efficiency and Change
• Councillor Ken Harrington - Assets, Waste and Environmental Services
• Councillor Elizabeth Wright - Children, Education and Families
• Councillor Chris McGiffen - Highways and Travel
• Councillor Jan O'Hara - Planning and Economic Growth
• Councillor Kirk Harrison - Regulatory Services
• Councillor Gregory Wilcox - Communities
