Pest control service
We provide pest control services for residents and businesses across North Northamptonshire, helping to resolve common pest problems quickly, safely and effectively.
What we offer
Some of the pests we can treat or advise on are:
- wasps
- fleas
- rats and mice
- ants
- maggots
- flies
- bed bugs
- carpet beetles
- clothes moths
We do not offer pest treatments for:
- bats - visit the Bat Conservation Trust
- bees - contact the Northamptonshire Beekeepers' Association or The British Beekeepers’ Association (BBKA)
- wild birds such as pigeons.
Fees and charges
Our service operates on a fixed-fee basis, so you'll know the cost before booking.
Payment must be made in full when booking your appointment. We cannot confirm an appointment without payment.

Concessions: If you receive qualifying means-tested benefits, you may be eligible for a 50% reduction. Eligibility is confirmed when you book your appointment.

Environmental protection referrals
Our pest control service focuses on treating pests within and around properties.
We do not deal with:
- pests and rodents outside your home (e.g. streets, public land)
- a neighbouring property causing pest problems
- investigation of the source of an infestation

Book a pest control appointment
To book a visit, request a quote, or discuss contract options, contact Customer Services on 0300 126 3000 and select Option 4, then Option 6.
When you call, we will:
- confirm the pest type
- provide the cost
- check if you qualify for a concession
- take payment and book your appointment
Please have details of the pest issue and the affected location ready when you call.
Your appointment
Appointments are available during the following time slots:
- Morning: 9am to 12 noon
- Afternoon: 2pm to 5pm
We are unable to provide exact attendance times. If our officer attends and cannot gain access to the property, you may still be charged for the visit.
Before you visit
Ensure you have followed any preparation instructions provided. If the necessary preparations have not been completed and treatment cannot be carried out, charges may still apply.
