North Northamptonshire Council Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14 North Northamptonshire Council (Public Footpath PB11 Wadenhoe and Publich Footpath MC2 - Aldwincle) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the above Order made by North Northamptonshire Council on 12 March 2026 and which came into effect on 20 March 2026 has been extended until the works to which it relates have been completed or until midnight on 19 March 2027 whichever is sooner by the Secretary of State for Transport. Private access to land or premises adjacent to the said footpaths is unaffected.

Reason for restriction: The restriction is required for health and safety due to the legal route being unusable/ unwalkable.

(Lengths of footpaths to be closed)

The route to be closed starts on Church Street at point A on the map at National Grid Reference (NGR) TL01054 83353. The route travels generally south west along footpath PB11 to the Parish Boundary with Aldwincle where it becomes MC2 for a total distance of approximately 658 metres to point B at NGR TL00647 82861. The route to be closed is shown by a solid black line between A - B.  

Alternative route: There is no alternative route.
