Screening decision notice for Wilbarston

Dear Sir/ Madam,

Wilbarston Neighbourhood Development Plan – Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) and Habitat Regulations Assessment (HRA) Screening Opinion: Wednesday 1 October to Tuesday 16 December 2025.

This letter sets out the screening opinion of North Northamptonshire Council regarding the requirement for a SEA and HRA in relation to the Wilbarston Neighbourhood Development Plan. The screening opinion has been informed by a detailed report and the views of the three statutory consultation bodies: the Environment Agency, Historic England, and Natural England.

The screening process concluded that a SEA is not required for the Wilbarston Neighbourhood Development Plan and that it does not need to be subject to a HRA.
