North Northamptonshire Council is inviting parents and carers to share their experiences of home to school transport as part of work to shape the future of travel to school.

The council’s ambition is for travel to school to support young people to live healthy, active and increasingly independent lives, while giving families clarity about what to expect and how decisions are made.

To support this, North Northamptonshire Council is reviewing how travel to school works in practice and is listening to families, educational settings, and partners to understand what works well and where changes could make a positive difference.

Parents and carers whose children currently receive home to school transport are invited to take part in a short survey.

The survey takes around 15 minutes to complete and responses are anonymous.
