North Northamptonshire Council congratulates Year 11 students on Results Day
21 August 2025

North Northamptonshire Council is wishing all Year 11 pupils across the area who are receiving their GCSE examination results today, 21 August 2025, the very best of luck.
Results for Level 1 and Level 2 vocational technical qualifications (VTQs) are also available today, where they have not already been issued.
Results day marks the start of the next stage of many young people’s lives as they move on to new challenges, whether that is continuing to study at sixth form or college or moving on to an apprenticeship or other work-based learning opportunity.
I would like to pass on my congratulations to all Year 11 students receiving their GCSE, or VTQ results today across North Northamptonshire, as well as offer a huge thank you to all the parents, carers, teachers and staff who have supported pupils throughout their school years to this stage.Cllr Elizabeth Wright, North Northamptonshire Council’s Executive Member for Children, Education and Families
It takes dedication and hard work to reach this point, and I hope today’s results will enable students to take positive next steps in their journey through to adulthood, whether through further education opportunities or employment.
Receiving exam results is important and whatever the outcome, there are many exciting opportunities still to come - from moving on to study A Levels, T-Levels, VTQs, or starting an apprenticeship or training scheme. Whatever the path, I wish all our students every success, and all the best for the future.
I’d like to congratulate all Year 11 students receiving their results today. This is a key moment in their journey, and I’m proud of the hard work and commitment they’ve shown. I encourage them to embrace the opportunities ahead.Cllr Martin Griffiths, Leader of North Northamptonshire Council
