New funding to support young people now available

Grants to support projects that help young people are being made available – and local organisations and community groups are invited to apply. 

North Northamptonshire Council’s £76,500 Youth Offer Small Grants Scheme is open for applications, with grants between £500 and £2,500 on offer. 

The fund will prioritise projects that provide opportunities for:

  • Friendship & belonging (widening access and inclusion opportunities)
  • Reach those most at risk or experiencing isolation
  • Youth voice
  • Health and wellbeing support
  • Enable voluntary youth action and development of services for young people
  • Support young people with health and wellbeing
  • Prevent crime and anti-social behaviour

The grants are available to organisations, community and voluntary groups working with young people aged 11 to 19 (and up to 25 years with SEND). 

Examples of what could be funded include youth activities and engagement, mentoring and support programmes, safe spaces and outreach, and early intervention projects.

The deadline for grant applications is 13 August 2026
