Budget friendly Halloween family days out return to the Chester House Estate

With Halloween just around the corner, local parents searching for budget-friendly October half-term activities need look no further. The Chester House Estate near Wellingborough will be hosting their hugely popular autumn event – Spooksville… If You Dare! Offering a full day of Halloween fun for just £7 per child, with accompanying adults going completely free.
Running from 24 - 31 October, the event is designed to give local families incredible value for money - the ticket price covers a jam-packed itinerary of activities for each child.
Each child’s ticket grants them and accompanying adults access to a whole day of themed activities, including:
- Pumpkin picking & carving station: pick your pumpkin and craft it however you like right here on-site, saving your kitchen table from all the mess!
- Face painting: transform your little ones with face painting designs of ghastly ghouls, witches, or spooky skeletons.
- Hay bale tractor maze: a family favourite where children can navigate the twists and turns of our hay bales.
- Hidden ghosts trail: locate the ghosts hidden around the site.
To ensure every family can join in on the Halloween festivities, The Chester House Estate is offering dedicated SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) morning sessions. Starting at 9:15 am before main entry opens, these quieter sessions provide a calm, low-sensory environment tailored for children with sensory processing needs.

Free on-site parking (including dedicated accessible parking via Lime Avenue) is available, with dog-friendly outdoor spaces also available.
The Chester House Estate’s Halloween event is running from 24 - 31 October with morning sessions from 10am - 1pm and afternoon sessions from 2pm - 5pm. SEND sessions are available from 9:15am.
