West and North Northamptonshire Event Safety Partnership
We offer advice to event organisers and local Safety Advisory Groups (SAGs).
This helps us to provide guidance to event organisers.
Our ESP:
- provides a forum of strategic advice
- gathers intelligence and share best practice
- provides consistent and proportionate advice and guidance
- supports local SAGs and encourage a positive culture of event safety
- considers legislation and approved codes of practice that applies to the events industry
- compiles and maintain a database of events in Northamptonshire
- maintains and develop links with anyone associated with the event industry
SAGs are made up of officers from the local councils, emergency services, other relevant bodies and the event organiser.
The Event Safety Partnership does not give permission for events to take place.
You must make sure that you have all the relevant road closures and landowner permissions in place for your event.
If the council owns the land, permission will be considered as part of the notification process
