Accessible toilets

RADAR keys

A special lock may be fitted to disabled toilet doors and can only opened using a RADAR key. It is designed for people who may have an immediate need to use a toilet whilst out and about.

If the toilet is inside a building, a RADAR key should always be available from staff, but if the toilet stands alone, you may need your own RADAR key to gain access.

Changing places

Changing places are disabled toilets with extra features and more space for people with profound and multiple learning disabilities or severe physical impairments.

AccessAble

AccessAble, specialises in providing accessibility information for a range of venues across the UK.

Each venue listed on their website is visited in person by a trained surveyor who photographs the building and checks the accessibility details are correct.

The Access Card

Nimbus Access Card is for disabled individuals to communicate their access needs. The card is now widely accepted at major event venues across the UK and beyond.
