Local area energy plan

The Local Area Energy Plan for North Northamptonshire sets out an evidence‑based approach to delivering a cost‑effective and locally appropriate transition to a net zero energy system.

It provides a coordinated, place specific framework that aligns national energy policy with local data, infrastructure constraints and opportunities, and wider social and economic considerations. 

The plan also explores future options for achieving our ambitions, including the role of emerging energy technologies and the changes required in how energy is generated, distributed and used.
