Notice and map NC2 - Hemington
North Northamptonshire Council Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14 North Northamptonshire Council (Public Bridleway NC2 - Hemington) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that North Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit pedestrians, equestrians and cyclists from proceeding along that length of Public Bridleway NC2 in Hemington as specified below. Private access to land or premises adjacent to the said length of bridleway are unaffected.
Right of way to which restriction applies: That part of Public Bridleway NC2 in the Parish of Hemington to be closed starts at point A on the map at National Grid Reference (NGR) TL 0889 8438. It extends in a generally south westerly direction for approximately 426 metres to point B on the map at NGR TL 0874 8398.
The routes to be closed is shown by solid black lines between points A - B.
Reasons for restriction: The restriction is required for public safety during environmental investigatory works.
Period of closure: The Order will come into effect on 4 June 2024 and will continue in force for a period of six months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for this Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such extent as is indicated by the display of notices.
Alternative route: There is no suitable alternative route.
