Get involved with the Youth Advisory Council

We are accepting member applications from young people who live in North Northamptonshire (aged 11 to 19, and up to 25 years with SEND) and are active members of a current youth forum such as a:

• school councils
• voluntary youth organisations
• youth councils or forum
• college youth council

To get involved, complete our short expression of interest.

If you want to stand for membership but are not involved in one of the groups above, speak to your school, college or local youth group who will be able to support you.

The campaign for member applications will be launched during National Youth Work week on 3 November 2025, with applications being accepted up until the 23 November 2025.

Successful applicants will have an informal meeting in December 2025, before officially taking up their position from January 2026 until December 2026.

Future elections

Future Youth Advisory Council member elections will run each year during National Youth Work week in November.
