Working in partnership with Northamptonshire Sport, we're inviting new mums and mums‑to‑be to help shape future support for staying active during pregnancy and after birth.

Anyone who is currently pregnant, a new mum, or has a child under the age of five, is encouraged to take part in a short survey that explores physical activity during pregnancy and post birth.

We’re keen to hear views from local mums and mums-to-be and what works for them when it comes to staying active during pregnancy and beyond. By taking part in the survey, they can help us design services and activities that are supportive, inclusive and tailored to local needs.
Councillor Brian Benneyworth, Executive Member for Housing, Health and Leisure at North Northamptonshire Council.

The survey, which closes on the 28 April 2026, will help to shape the development of physical activity facilities and programmes to support expectant and new mums who would like to stay active during their pregnancy and after giving birth.

You can find the survey and share your views on the council website.
