South Midlands Growth Grant returns to power innovation, unlock new technologies and accelerate business growth across the region

The South Midlands Growth Grant is now welcoming Expressions of Interest from businesses across the South Midlands.

Between £5,000 and £25,000 is available to support projects that will enhance growth, ignite innovation and help businesses to take meaningful steps towards a more sustainable, low-carbon future.

Expressions of Interest open 1 July at 10am and close 23 July 26 at 5pm. Successful businesses will then be invited to submit a full application for their project. 

Round one of the Capital Growth Grant saw £609,598.93 awarded to 22 businesses, following over 130 applications. It supported a diverse range of projects, from the delivery of a purpose-built production and product development facility to the creation of bespoke operating software systems.

The incredible demand we saw in the first-round highlights how vital grant funding is for ambitious businesses across the South Midlands. It’s more than just financial support; it’s a catalyst for innovation, giving businesses the confidence and resource they need to move faster, think bigger and bring new ideas to life.

When combined with the day-to-day support of the Growth Hub, grants provide a powerful platform for growth, helping businesses accelerate their development, unlock new opportunities and make a lasting impact on our regional economy.
