With Valentine’s Day one of the most popular days of the year for couples to get engaged, North Northamptonshire Council is reminding residents that they can get hitched in two council owned venues - the Mayor’s Parlour in Kettering and the Corby Cube

Last year, over 100 couples had ceremonies across the venues which offer a cost-effective and high-quality alternative to other venues across the local area, in a town centre location.

Both venues offer a wide range of benefits including:

  • Low ceremony costs
  • Sound system
  • Large, high-quality, venues - up to 40 guests in the Mayor’s Parlour and 100 guests in the Corby Cube
  • Large car parks
Getting married is one of the most special days in a person’s lifetime, but it also comes at a cost - something which is rising every year.

Using one of our licensed venues offers a more cost-effective alternative for those on a tighter budget and means you can save your budget for something else - maybe a deposit on a house or honeymoon.
