North Northamptonshire Council wishes Year 13 students the very best of luck on Results Day
Schools and education14 August 2025

North Northamptonshire Council is wishing Year 13 students the very best of luck today, 14 August 2025, as they receive their A-Level and T-Level exam results.
Results for Level 3 vocational technical qualifications (VTQs) are also available today, where they have not already been issued.
Results day marks the start of the next stage of many young people’s lives whether that is continuing in further education, or in higher education at university, moving on to an apprenticeship or starting a work-based opportunity.
For students who haven’t achieved the results they were hoping for, there is plenty of information that can provide guidance on next steps for the future.
In the first instance, local schools can offer advice on the options including retakes and alternative courses.
Local Northamptonshire-based colleges, including Tresham College, and Moulton College have information regarding further education and higher education courses available locally.
Guidance is available on the UCAS website regarding clearing options at universities across the UK for students following receipt of their results.
The National Careers Service provides a free helpline 0800 100 900 and online resources to support young people to make informed decisions about their future career options, and the GOV.UK Education Hub can also help students seeking support with decision-making for the future.
I’m delighted to be wishing Year 13 students across North Northamptonshire the very best of luck as they receive their A-Level, T-Level and VTQ results today.Cllr Elizabeth Wright, North Northamptonshire Council’s Executive Member for Children, Families and Education
I would also like to thank all the teachers, tutors, coaches, parents, families, carers and supporters of all of our children who have done everything to get our students to this point.
I know it can be a very nervous time for students, and I hope our pupils receive the results they have been hoping for and have worked hard for.
For those who may not receive the results they were hoping for, there are many options available, that will open many doors and create new and exciting opportunities for the future, and I encourage pupils to pursue these avenues in areas that interest and inspire them.
I’d like to send my very best wishes to all Year 13 students receiving their results today. This is a significant milestone, and I’m proud of the determination and resilience shown by our young people. I encourage them to embrace the opportunities ahead.Cllr Martin Griffiths, Leader of North Northamptonshire Council.
