Notice of Vacancy in office of Councillor - Broughton Parish Council

Notice is hereby given that as a consequence of failure to complete a declaration of acceptance of office within the proper time, a casual vacancy has arisen in the office of Councillor for Broughton Parish Council.

If by Thursday 17 July 2025 (14 days after the date of this notice excluding Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays), a request for an election to fill the vacancy is made in writing to the Proper Officer, North Northamptonshire Council, Municipal Offices, Bowling Green Road, Kettering, Northants, NN15 7QX by ten electors for the Parish, an election will be held to fill the vacancy. If no such request is received the Parish Council may fill the vacancy by co-option.

If an election is called, it will take place no later than Monday 22 September 2025.
