What does belonging mean to you? What's the best thing about working for NNC?

Belonging to me means being in a mutually supportive, friendly and collegiate culture, like in NNC - where opportunities abound and good ideas are always welcomed.

Finding these qualities in the working environment has sustained me working for Northamptonshire councils for 29 years so far!

Tell us about your team

I am very proud of our highly knowledgeable, skilled, friendly, and supportive team in the Educational Psychology Service - with all our members committed to the best outcomes for all our North Northamptonshire children.

Tell us about your favourite place in North Northamptonshire

My favourite place in North Northamptonshire is Wicksteed Park – the oldest theme park in the UK, where, having a traditional feel, there is something for everyone across ages and stages of life.  

What are you most proud of achieving in your career so far?

I am most proud of successfully leading the Educational Psychology Service these past 5 years through a period of extensive local government change combined with a pandemic, and a national shortage of EPs, while being able to be resilient and adapt and so enabling the service to continue to provide high standards of service to North Northamptonshire children and families.
