North Northamptonshire Council (Corby District) (Waiting and loading restrictions and on-street parking places) (Consolidation) Order 2009 (Amendment No. 24) Order 2025

Statement of reasons

Priors Hall Park, Corby

In response to reports of parking throughout Priors Hall Park it is proposed to install No Waiting at Any Time restrictions and unlimited parking bays in various sections of the following roads:

Gretton Road, Kestrel Road, Redwing Place, Regents Place, Hyde Place, Park View, Lilford Place, The Avenue, Holdenby Drive, Blakesley Street, London Road, Wentworth Drive, Coles Road, Levatts Way, Flaxland Way, Birkdale Drive and Arnold Drive in Priors Hall Park, Corby.

For the purposes of the Traffic Regulation Order and in accordance with the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the proposals below are required in order to:

• facilitate the passage on the road for any class of traffic (including pedestrians)
• avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road
• improve parking amenities for local businesses, residents and visitors
