North Northamptonshire Council Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

North Northamptonshire County Council (Corby District) (Waiting and loading restrictions and on-street parking places) (Consolidation) Order 2009 (Amendment No. 26) Order 20XX

North Northamptonshire Council in exercise of the powers conferred by Sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 35, 45 and 46 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act of 1984”) and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act of 1984, hereby makes the following Order:

1. Citation and Commencement - This Order shall come into operation on XXXXXX and may be cited as “The Northamptonshire County Council (Corby District) (Waiting and Loading Restrictions and On-Street Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2009 (Amendment No. 26) Order 20XX”.
2. Amendment of the Consolidation Order - Without prejudice to the validity of anything done, or to any liability incurred, before this Order comes into operation, “The Northamptonshire County Council (Corby District) (Waiting and Loading Restrictions and On-Street Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2009” is hereby amended by the inclusion, removal and variation of the restrictions as shown on the map tiles and plans identified in the Schedules to this Order.

Schedule 1

Introduction of No Waiting at Any Time (Double Yellow Lines), George Street, Corby - Introduce No Waiting at Any Time (double yellow lines) for a distance of 7 metres in a south-east direction from the Cottingham Road roundabout, replacing the existing time-limited waiting bay (Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm, 30 minutes, no return within 90 minutes), as shown on the accompanying plan.

Schedule 2

Removal of Time-Limited Waiting Bay, George Street, Corby - Remove 7 metres of the marked time-limited waiting bay (Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm, 30 minutes, no return within 90 minutes) in a south-east direction from the Cottingham Road roundabout, to be replaced with No Waiting at Any Time, as detailed in Schedule 1 and the accompanying plan.

Schedule 3

Removal of No Waiting at Any Time (Double Yellow Lines), George Street, Corby - Remove lengths of No Waiting at Any Time (double yellow lines) measuring 3.45 metres and 3.80 metres respectively to facilitate new pedestrian tactile crossing points on both sides of the central reservation at the Cottingham Road roundabout, as shown on the accompanying plan.
