Leisure events

Xplorer

Is a family friendly navigation challenge that is educational and fun and gives children a sense of adventure as they explore the park to find markers.

Free to join, no need to book.

Children must be always supervised by a parent or guardian. Activities are designed for the whole family to take part together. Fancy dress is welcome!

Monday 26 October

10am to 12noon - Wellingborough, Swanspool Gardens (NN8 1BP) meet near the war memorial in the centre of the park, visible when entering via Swanspool car park.

1pm to 3pm - Corby, Kingswood Neighbourhood Centre, (NN18 9HU) meet by the play park, to the right when looking at the building.

Tuesday 27 October

1pm to 3pm - Kettering, The Green Patch (NN16 0LU) meet inside Green Patch

Wednesday 28 October

New! 1pm to 3pm - Corby, Athletics Track (NN17 2FB) Meet near the entrance to the track.

Thursday 29 October

10am to 12noon - Corby, The Boating Lake (NN17 2UN) meet by the picnic benches at the back of the café, visible from the car park.

10am to 12noon - Rushden, Hall Park (NN10 9ES) meet near the carpark/play area.

2pm to 3:30pm - Thrapston, Peace Park (NN14 4JT) meet by the play area.

Halloween Party

At Priors Hall Golf Course, Corby - Come along to our October half term spooky party! Entertainment provided by Non-Stop Kids Entertainment.

Enjoy a Mini Arrival Disco, Spooky Party games, Action dances and competitions, then a food break followed by more high energy Halloween themed party games. Prizes and sweets included.

Family Halloween Walk

Do you love searching for skeletons, mixing with mummies or zoning in on zombies? Come and join us for an interactive spooktacular walk where these creepy characters will come to life in front of your eyes!

Don’t worry though - they’re friendly and love to show off their dance moves! Feel free to join in!

Two walks available: 10am and 12noon.

Queensway Park, Wellingborough. NN8 3TG. Meet by the calisthenics Rig.

Suitable for all ages but children must be accompanied by adults at all times. Mobile device required. Limited spaces available so booking is essential, book your place by emailing [email protected].
