Movement Journal
Grab your Movement and Explorer Journal from North Northamptonshire libraries, family hubs and leisure centres from Saturday 11 July. The journal this year follows an exciting Jungle Explorer theme, with activities spread across seven engaging sections, including physical activity tracking, creative tasks, outdoor challenges, mindfulness exercises, and a special feature celebrating the Commonwealth Games 2026.
Bring the completed journal back to a library before Saturday 5 September, to get your certificate and enter the prize draw or scan the QR code on the back.
Sport camps
North Northants Leisure are working closely with local sports organisations to provide unique and exciting sporting opportunities for children and young people aged 8 to 14 in North Northamptonshire.
Sessions are delivered by qualified coaches and youth athletes who are participating at a top level! This is a great opportunity for children and young people to be exposed to new opportunities and have fun.
Limited number of paid spaces at £5 a session.
Bring plenty of water and wear suitable clothing for engaging in physical activity. Sports camps will take place on grass, athletics track or AstroTurf, so please bear wear footwear appropriate for these ground types.

Good Vibes Only - Teen Wellbeing and Mindfulness Days
Delivered by the North Northamptonshire Active Communities team, at various locations across North Northamptonshire.
A calming and creative 4-hour retreat for teens aged 12 to 16. Each session features yoga, journaling, mindful crafts, and space to unwind in a friendly and supportive setting. Held weekly in different North Northants locations. Limited paid tickets at £5.
