Rural Business Grant Scheme
Capital grants up to £50,000 are available to help rural businesses become more resilient and support growth.
These grants can be used to help businesses invest in equipment or build extensions and alterations. This grant scheme is now open for new applications.
Projects
A particular target for round 5 is rural diversification, including:
- business diversification
and - projects which support the visitor economy
Applications can be made for projects that can start quickly and be delivered with all spend claimed by 28 February 2025.

To request an application form to apply for a grant, please email [email protected] with your business name and address. The deadline for submission of applications is 8am on Monday 16 December 2024.
These grants are funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, which provides £2.6 billion of funding for local investment by March 2025.
The fund aims to improve pride in place and increase life chances across the UK investing in communities and place, supporting local business, and people and skills.
